Observe Kuala Lumpur’s iconic skyscrapers and city architecture, and lifestyle, and continue with a night’s stay up in the mountain with a lush green view of tea estates. and have a mixed cultural observation in Georgetown, Penang.

Depending on the traveler’s flight schedule, I normally will be at the arrival hall 15mins prior to the traveler’s arrival time. Approximately 1 1/2 drive to Malacca city downtown. Check-in hotel of your choice.

With a very long chronological history timeline, Malacca was once a vital trading post in South East Asia that connects the East & West. The Sultanate’s era in Malacca reached its glorious period during the 15th century. A walking tour along the ruins of the Portuguese Fort, and Dutch Square with a visit to Baba & Nyonya Heritage and Sultanate Palace museum. Lunch at the restaurant/cafe of your choice. Check out and depart to Kuala Lumpur.

Take a journey down to Ipoh and Kek Lok Tong cave temples. A cave temple situated on 12 acres of land was used as early as the 1920’s as a place of worship. Set in a limestone outcrop, spend some time exploring the temple featuring a number of Buddhist figures. Little diversion into the Royal Town of Kuala Kangsar to see the Ubudiah Mosque and get a glimpse of the Malay village and the Sultan of Perak State Palace. Next en route and take a boat to a hidden gem ‘Orang Utan’ island to learn about one of the biggest apes on earth.

Have a quick lunch (own expenses) and continue the journey to Penang. Upon arrival check-in at the hotel. Rest of the day.

After breakfast at the hotel, head out on a tour of the UNESCO Heritage city of Georgetown’s main attractions. Stop at the Thai Temple of the Reclining Buddha and at the Burmese Temple. Then visit Khoo Kongsi, a beautiful Chinese Clan House. The tour culminates with a visit to Kek Lok Si Temple. The largest Buddhist temple in Malaysia, this is the perfect place to wander around for a look at Malaysia’s unique and traditional culture. End of program. Travelers can choose to be drop-off at Georgetown center or back to the hotel. End of program.
