0900hrs: Pick up from the hotel lobby and for a short drive depending on your hotel location we going to make a stop at Petronas Towers. Take a 20-25 mins walk at KLCC Park to have a suitable space for you to take photographs shot from many angles from the park.

Note: Should you want to visit the Observation area in Petronas Towers you can always pre-purchase the entrance ticket by visiting: the Petronas Twin Towers website

Discover another multicultural aspect of Malaysia and visit one of the most important sanctuaries of Hindu culture, the Batu Caves located on the outskirts of the city. After climbing the 272 steps that lead to the Sanctuary of Murugan, one of the most revered deities of Hinduism, enjoy splendid panoramic views of the city. It is also possible to find monkeys in constant search for food so be alert! These impressive caves remain a destination for pilgrims, especially during the most important Hindu festival in Asia, Thaipusam, which is celebrated during the full-moon Tamil month (January and February).

A short stop-over for a photo by the King’s Gate (National Palace) will be next.

A soothing drive pass into KL Botanical Garden will guide you into this mass green area with a few attractions located inside this area such as Kuala Lumpur Bird’s Park, Butterfly Park, Orchids flower garden, and a few others. Take a short visit to National Mosque if we reach there during the visitation hours. From here we can also make a short walk to record the heritage Old Kuala Lumpur railway station built during the British era.

Central Market will be our final stop for the day. From here we will be going on foot (walking tour) to Petaling Street or Chinatown. First, we visit the Mahamariamman Hindu temple located just next to the Chinatown area. Continue by strolling walk into Chinatown and have a look at the street vendors selling a variety of things ranging from watches, handbags, sunglasses, shirts & souvenirs.

At this stage, you can choose to have lunch in the Central Market food court or the local cafe that is available here. Or we can continue our walking tour to a focal point in Old Kuala Lumpur which is the point where Kuala Lumpur’s name was derived from.

Continue the Heritage Walk to Dataran Merdeka, here we will see an open field surrounded by old heritage buildings of Kuala Lumpur. On the opposite side stand Sultan Abdul Samad Building and on the other side is the Royal Selangor Club synonymous with its Tudor architecture.

Free at leisure until pickup transfer to KLIA/KLIA2 departure for your next flight.
