About the Experience

An afternoon escape private experience to take you to the coastal town of Kuala Selangor. Initial stop-over to visit Batu Cave Hindu Temple. About an hour journey next will make a stop to visit the intricate architectures of Shakti Temple. Next, meet the silver-leaf langurs- a unique primate species commonly seen by the coastal area. When the night starts blanketing the day, it is time to see the fireflies synchronizing the dance of the lights.

Pickup shall commence between 3.00 PM from your hotel in KL City. Your journey kicks off in the afternoon with a convenient pickup from your hotel in Kuala Lumpur. You’ll be warmly welcomed by our friendly local driver-guide, who will give you a quick overview of the day’s itinerary. Sit back and relax in a comfortable vehicle as we leave the hustle and bustle of the city behind and venture into the picturesque countryside of Selangor

KLCC Park | Together we going to have 20-30 minutes brisk morning walk around the green KLCC Park trail to observe the amazing twin towers from many angles from the ground level, and perhaps to capture some moments

Upon arriving in Kuala Selangor, we’ll visit the stunning Sri Shakti Devasthanam Temple—one of Southeast Asia’s most intricately designed Hindu temples. Constructed in accordance with ancient Hindu scriptures, the temple showcases exquisite hand-carved stonework, divine statues, and sacred geometrical patterns that reflect spiritual harmony. Serene and majestic, this temple offer’s a meaningful complement to the earlier visit to Batu Caves, deepening your appreciation for Malaysia’s rich cultural and spiritual tapestry.

Next, we head to Bukit Melawati, a historic hilltop fortress offering panoramic views of the coastline and remnants of colonial-era structures. One of the main highlights here is encountering the friendly Silvered Leaf Monkeys—gentle, silver-grey primates known for their calm demeanor. On weekends and public holidays, you can also enjoy a ride on the charming traditional tram, which takes you past the hill’s iconic lighthouse and rows of old cannons, adding a nostalgic touch to your visit.

As evening sets in, you’ll have the option to enjoy a delicious seafood dinner at a local riverside restaurant in Pasir Penambang, a vibrant fishing village in Kuala Selangor.
